You can learn a lot about a person by the car they drive. The interior and exterior designs can reveal much about the driver’s personality and how they want to be perceived. Exterior styling is often about how we look to others. How does it look in the driveway? What does it say about us when friends and strangers see what we drive? We may not want to admit this, but it’s there. By contrast, interior styling is indeed internal. It impacts how we feel about the car when we are using it. It is for ourselves and those we allow in the car with us. Such is the importance of interiors that Wards has awards for vehicles that deliver incredible design and a great user experience, and McFarland Chevrolet is proud to announce that the Chevrolet Blazer EV earned one of ten coveted spots on the 2024 Wards 10 Best Interiors and UX list.

The competition evaluates the interiors of new or significantly redesigned models. They judge the interiors based on various metrics, including design and aesthetics, comfort, materials, fit-and-finish, connectivity, infotainment, and more.

“The Blazer EV’s main display screen rivals those in luxury brand models with its great resolution and clarity. Its cabin is packed with lots of unique trim and design elements, surrounded by stunning color schemes,” said Wards judge Christie Schweinsberg.

“Eye-popping red accents and oh-so-sporty radial air vents are just the starting points for the Blazer EV, which features lightning-quick Google-based voice controls backed by a bevy of proper knobs and switches to manage the most-used functions,” said Wards judge Bob Gritzinger.

One look at the Blazer EV interior, and you will immediately understand. The center touchscreen is large at 17 inches but fully integrated into the design. The round climate control vents are intricately detailed. Bright trim sets off the steering wheel spokes, physical controls, cup holders, and other interior sections. The 11-inch driver’s information center is as dynamic as the rest of the vehicle’s styling, and the red and black two-tone interior on the RS is particularly striking.

“We are honored to see the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV recognized for this award,” said Phil Zak, Executive Design Director, Chevrolet. “Our designers worked hard to elevate the exterior and interior design of the Blazer EV but maintain its true functionality. This award shows we are offering a great experience to our customers.”

The 2024 Blazer EV is currently available in LT and RS trims and qualifies for the entire federal $7,500 consumer tax credit, which can be redeemed at the point of purchase and even used as part of the down payment. The Blazer EV is also unique in its availability in front-, rear-, and all-wheel drive configurations. In rear-wheel drive, the Blazer EV has an EPA-certified range estimate of 324 miles on a full charge. The AWD model is rated at 279 miles of range and has a 103 city / 88 highway MPGe rating.
