Chevrolet Celebrates the Nation’s 250th Birthday with Stars & Steel Special Edition Models

July 4th, 2026, will mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. To commemorate the event, Chevrolet, that most American of automotive brands (despite its French name), has unveiled its Stars & Steel Collection. McFarland Chevrolet provides the details.

The Stars & Steel Collection comprises special-edition models and appearance packages available across the Corvette Coupe & Convertible, Silverado 1500, Silverado EV, Silverado HD, and Colorado model lines. Every one of these models is assembled in the United States.

Each vehicle features carefully selected exterior and interior color schemes, American flag-inspired and “250” graphics, and exclusive premium options. The graphics are bold enough to add distinction, but subtle enough not to be garish. For example, the flag graphics feature an abstract representation of the flag in a single color rather than a red, white, and blue combination.

For every Stars & Steel vehicle sold, Chevrolet will donate $250 to nonprofits that support the veteran community. In addition, a “one of one” 2026 Corvette ZR1X with a Stars & Steel-inspired design was auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Winter Auction on Jan. 25th, 2026. It sold for $2.6 million, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Tunnel to Towers is a nonprofit organization that honors fallen first responders and supports injured veterans and their families through mortgage-free homes and financial assistance.

“The Stars & Steel Collection celebrates a key milestone for the country that not only served as the birthplace of our brand but has also been its home for nearly 115 years,” said Scott Bell, Vice President of Global Chevrolet. “Each vehicle in this collection is proudly assembled in the United States and honors the rich legacy of our nation.”

Such is the ubiquity of the Chevrolet brand that nearly 87% of Americans live within 10 miles of a Chevrolet dealership.

Corvette: Stars & Steel Limited Edition

This will be an exclusive run of just 250 units, available across all models from Stingray to ZR1X, offered in coupe or convertible styles on 3LT/3LZ trims. The Corvette lineup is the only model in the Stars & Steel Collection, limited to 250.

The models are available in Arctic White with a Santorini Blue interior or Black with an Adrenaline Red interior. Each limited edition includes:

• American Flag-inspired full-length stripes in Satin Silver or Satin Black and “250” flag graphics on doors and spoiler ends (on models so-equipped)
• Unique sill plates and interior plaque featuring the build sequence number
• Black Gloss, Carbon-Flash, or available Carbon Fiber Wheels (depending on model)
• Red accents: Edge Red Calipers, Red Seat belts, Floor Mats with Red Stitching, and Edge Red Engine Cover on select models
• Black exhaust tips & select accessories by model

Silverado 1500: Stars & Steel Special Edition

It is the RST Crew Cab Short Box 4WD model that will get the Stars & Steel treatment. It features the 6.2-liter V8 under the hood and either Summit White or Black exterior paint, with a Jet Black interior. Each special edition includes:

• American Flag-inspired stripes in Satin Silver or Satin Black and “250” flag graphics
• 22-inch high-gloss black wheels
• Brembo performance brake system with red six-piston front calipers for ultimate braking confidence in towing and daily driving
• Black exhaust tips
• Performance air intake

• Protection Package including spray-on bedliner and wheelhouse liners

Silverado EV: Stars & Steel Special Edition

This will also be on the RST Crew Cab trim, with either Summit White or Black exterior color, and a Sky Cool Gray interior with bucket seats. Each special edition includes:

• American Flag-inspired stripes in Satin Silver or Satin Black and “250” flag graphics
• 24-inch high-gloss black wheels
• All-new Brembo heavy-duty brake system with red six-piston front calipers and larger 15.7-inch brake disc for improved pedal feel, fade resistance, and stopping power in all conditions.

Silverado Heavy Duty: Stars & Steel Special Edition

LTZ Crew Cab Trail Boss models with 4WD and the 6.6-liter Duramax Diesel get the Stars & Steel treatment. Like the Silverado 1500, it is available in either Summit White or Black exterior paint with a black interior and bucket seats. Each special edition includes:
